Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a great location near Patpong Market and Silom, making it easy to travel around. The rooms, though a bit smaller than expected, are clean and have a big TV, and the spacious king-size bed comfortably accommodated three people. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The dining experience was nice, but with a limited spread. Overall, a good value for the price.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with great facilities and included breakfast, although some rooms overlook an active construction site. The service is helpful, offering complimentary late check-out, but can be slightly inefficient. The location is convenient, with easy access to the lively Patpong Night Market, but some surrounding decking requires repair. Overall, my stay was pleasant with minor inconveniences.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although clean and comfortable, could use some refurbishing. On the bright side, they were exceptionally good value for money, spacious, clean, equipped with good bathrooms having quality towels and toiletries, and had very effective air conditioning. The service was top-notch, with a very friendly and efficient staff. The location was great for shopping, dining out, and exploring the city. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is situated in the sleezy Patpong area. The dining experience was impressive with a diverse and delicious breakfast spread, and the facilities provided added convenience to my stay, making it a good choice overall.
I had a wonderful stay at Monthien Hotel. The rooms, though not what I originally booked, were exceptionally good value for money - spacious, clean, with good bathrooms, and excellent air conditioning. The service was top-notch, with a warm welcome and helpful attitude from the staff, especially Pierre-Andre, the Area General Manager. The location is amazing, right in front of Patpong and next to the BTS with friendly staff. The dining experience, although a bit expensive, was delightful with Thai and Asian options available. The facilities were well-maintained and up to standard.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, which is located in a prime position close to Sam Yan Station and across the road from Pat Pong Markets. The rooms were large and spacious, offering fantastic views outside. The service was impeccable, especially the gentleman at the front door who was extremely helpful. The location was excellent, with easy access to the Metro and Skytrain, and being right across the road from the night market. The dining experience was amazing, with a wide variety of food and drink options. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay very comfortable.
The hotel offers huge and really unique rooms that are comfortable and clean, although some edges might not be to everyone's liking. The service is very helpful overall, but there were some issues with communication that led to minor frustrations. Despite needing some refurbishment, the location is amazing, being right in front of Patpong and next to the BTS. The facilities are well-equipped and functional, catering to various needs.
The hotel overlooks Patpong Road and the Night Market, providing an interesting view but with loud traffic noise until 2 am. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, designed in Thai traditional style; however, being assigned next to the lift may be noisy. The service was lacking, with rude staff and issues regarding room preferences. Despite the location being close to transportation and eateries, there were disturbances from the housekeeping area. The dining options were decent, but could use more variety. The hotel is in a renovation stage.
The hotel room was spacious, with a huge king-size bed that easily accommodated three of us with plenty of space. Moving to a bigger room was a great upgrade. The service was very friendly, especially by the manager who was hands-on at breakfast and during busy periods, including the coffee shop service. The location was excellent, just a 4-minute walk to the Patpong nightlife area and the night market, with a 10-minute walk to the skytrain. The dining experience was a bit overpriced at £17 each per day, but the spacious dining rooms and attentive staff made up for it. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay.
The hotel is conveniently located near Pat Pong night market and the Metro link, offering easy access to various restaurants. While the rooms need refurbishing and are not sound-proof, the hotel lacks consideration for non-smoking room availability and had unauthorized charges on my card.
